Gaaaaaah! I didn't update yesterday! ... Here's all the things I was thankful for yesterday:
1) Steve Bryne
2) Sane/Nice people on Greyhound
3) Bus drivers who make cruel jokes about Canadians
4) Getting to see Jon drunk
5) Chicken pot pie
6) "Julie and Julia" for inspiring me to learn to cook
7) The fan made prequel to Doctor Horrible... Horrible Turn (click here to watch!) Slow at first, but it picks up.
8) Kenny Hammerstein... see #7
And here's that I'm thankful for today!
1) Demetri Martin
2) St. Mary's Academy
3) Hot Cocoa Trio's from Seattle's Best
4) Amanda
5) Ms. Nyland and her obsession with my hair
6) Warm coats
7) Having the house to myself
8) Christmas decorations
Today Amanda and I stopped by good old St. Mary's Academy and tormented some teachers... and by some, I mean almost all of them. It was so nice to see them all, even the one's I wasn't particularly fond of when I was in high school. I was surprised that the number one comment I got was about how great I look and how much more mature I am now... which is a nice way of saying I now have a fancy haircut, a thinner waist, nicer clothes, and boobs.
My wisdom teeth come out tomorrow. Do not want.
I learned the hard way today that I should never ever bring up boys with my Dad, because he will subtly/inappropriately/awkwardly ask me if I've slept with my current crush. And the sad thing is he doesn't seem to understand what he said to me was awkward. I just kept saying, "No, no, no. We are not having this conversation. Not now, not ever." I wasn't covering anything up (there's not anything to cover up at this point), I just simply refuse to talk about my (imaginary) sex life with my father.
Right. I need to go finish unpacking, and then I'm going to do my daily work out. Then I'm going to find some recipes for drinks and soft foods on the internet. As I said in my 'Thankful For...' section, I really want to learn to cook, so I figured this would be an easy way to start out. Find foods I can eat after I get my wisdom teeth take out. Awesome... except for the wisdom teeth removal part.
